Tennis
Fargo Country Club is home to one of the region’s most active tennis programs, and offers two Har-Tru tennis courts and two artificial grass tennis courts for our members to enjoy from Spring – Fall. The tennis courts are conveniently surrounded by wind screens to maintain a pleasant environment on the windiest of days.
Our professional tennis staff offers both individual and group lessons for players of all ages throughout the season. For players looking for more competitive outlets, the club runs an adult league throughout the summer months.
Individual/Group Lessons
Individual tennis lessons are available Monday – Friday, 3:30 – 10:00 PM (additional times are available upon request). Participants are asked to set up lessons at least 24 hours in advance. To schedule a lesson, please contact Jake Dahl at 701-200-1438 or jacdahl@aol.com.
For players who want to brush up on their skills in a relaxed, group setting, the club offers a full schedule of clinics in a more social setting throughout the season.
Women’s Drill & Play
Our popular Women’s Drill and Play League will take place Wednesdays at 7pm starting Wednesday, June 1st and runs through Wednesday, August 31st. This league consists of a half hour of instruction combined with a half hour of optional match play. Cost is $20 per time and is pay as you play. All levels welcome and no sign up is required!
Family Beginner Lessons
Our Family Beginner Lessons in June will take place on Monday, June 6th at 6pm & Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30pm. These lessons are a half hour long and designed for families who are new to the sport or haven’t played in a while and will focus on instruction on basic skills and provide fun activities that that families are able to practice together! Spots are limited. Sign up is required. Cost is $35 per family per lesson.
Junior Tennis
We will also be holding our Kids Beginner Lessons on Tuesday, June 7th & Tuesday, June 21st during these lessons, kids will be introduced to the game and taught proper techniques through a combination of games and drills. Sign up is required. Cost is $20/person, times are listed below:
Kids ages 6-9 from 10:30am - 11am
Kids ages 10-13 from 11am - 11:30am
Men's Drill and Play League
Our Men’s Drill and Play League will take place Wednesday mornings at 7am starting Wednesday, June 8th. Session 1 will run from June 8th - June 29th (additional sessions will be offered pending demand). This league will consist of fun and competitive drills and games against other participating members. Cost is $20 per time and is pay as you play. All levels welcome. Initial signup before each month-long session is required.
